A Father Becoming: Virtual Healing Circle for Black Dads

At The Culture LP, we believe in creating spaces where culture, community, and healing intersect. This spring, we’re excited to co-present A Father Becoming: Healing Circle for Black Dads, a virtual gathering designed to provide a safe space for Black fathers to breathe, share, and reflect.

This event is more than just a meeting—it's a circle, a sacred space for connection, self-discovery, and growth. Guided by experienced facilitators, the circle will include breathwork, guided meditations, and open discussions, allowing participants to unpack the unique joys and challenges of fatherhood.

Why This Space Matters

Black fathers often carry a unique blend of strength and vulnerability, navigating societal pressures, ancestral legacies, and the deeply personal journey of fatherhood. In these circles, we honor that complexity. This isn’t just a space to speak—it’s a space to be heard, to reflect, and to release.

Our Collaborators

  • Black Men Feel – On a mission to normalize mental wellness among Black men, they create transformative content and experiences that foster emotional awareness and healing.

  • Adetokunbo Osinaike – A trauma-informed embodiment and leadership coach, Adetokunbo will guide participants through grounding breathwork, helping fathers reconnect with their bodies and emotions.

  • The Serenity Project – An audio-visual wellness experiment born from grief, fueled by light, and nurtured by the desire to create healing spaces for all. The project’s founder, Hugh-Michael, founder of The Culture LP, will lead a 15-minute guided meditation to set the tone for the circle.
