What is the NXTHVN Fellowship Program?
NXTHVN opens its doors annually to up to seven artists and two curators selected from a global pool of talent. The program offers not only studio or office space and financial support but also a mentorship-driven curriculum featuring sessions led by accomplished artists, curators, scholars, and practitioners.
Unique Elements of the Fellowship:
Professional Development: Dive into a tailored curriculum designed to enhance your artistic practice and propel your career forward.
High School Apprenticeship: Engage in one-on-one learning with a local high school Apprentice, fostering mutual growth and contributing to the development of the next generation of creative minds.

Application Details:
Application Period: December 5, 2023, to February 26, 2024.
Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 21 and above, not enrolled in an academic program or other residency during the fellowship year.
International Applicants: Studio Fellows may be based in the US or internationally, but please note that NXTHVN currently does not cover travel or relocation costs.

Selection Process:
A panel of NXTHVN staff and alumni will make selections based on your ability to articulate your desire to join the program at this stage in your career.
Interviews typically occur in the spring, with the final cohort announced shortly thereafter.
Selected applicants will be notified in April 2024.
